A French manufacturer of scented soaps and a laboratory for anhydrous cosmetics (whipped creams, scrubs, balms, serums, cold-process soaps), Atelier du Savon has been designing 100% natural and certified organic products since 2007.
Located in the Haut Var region, the manufacturer integrated Les Essentiels laboratory and its eponymous brand in August 2025. This strategic merger strengthens its position in the clean beauty sector and consolidates the company's presence in an exceptional territory: the birthplace of perfumery and aromatic plants in the Grasse region.
We are certified "Grasse Expertise" and rely on over 25 years of recognized know-how in local production, natural ingredients, favoring short supply chains, all with an ethical and eco-responsible culture.

The Essentials - The Art of Anhydrous Cosmetics
For over 15 years, Les Essentiels laboratory has distinguished itself with its specialized expertise in formulating innovative anhydrous cosmetics, 100% natural and certified organic (COSMOS standard). Sensory textures, galenics adapted to each use, and environmental commitment define its signature. Les Essentiels markets its certified range through its own brand and offers its formulas as white label products. The R&D and regulatory department supports clients in their custom projects, with accessible minimum quantities and controlled lead times.
The laboratory is now located in the same building as the manufacturing facility, promoting coherence, fluidity, and operational synergies.
The laboratory markets its range of COSMOS-certified products under its brand Les Essentiels (www.laboratoire-lesessentiels.fr) and also offers its certified formulas as white label products.

Grasse Expertise is a territorial and collective brand created in 2017 by the Club des Entrepreneurs du Pays de Grasse to unite, protect, and promote professionals within an exceptional ecosystem.

L'Atelier du Savon is an active member of the Grasse Expertise territorial label, which recognizes excellence in the Perfume, Flavor, Cosmetic, Health & Wellness sectors of the Grasse region.
This network is built upon three pillars:
- the promotion of agricultural and artisanal expertise,
- the attractiveness of a unique territory nestled between the sea and mountains,
- support for the perfume plant industry of the Grasse region.
The label, which is extremely selective, currently includes just over 80 companies.
